Hours after Andris Treimanis has been selected as one of the 20 referees to take charge of 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup matches I publish a translation of an old interview with the Latvian referee. Ilvars Koscinkevičs from Latvian Football Federation was the one who interviewed Treimanis. The interview was published in the federation's publication 'Latvijas Futbols' #19 on 20 March 2017. I know that the interview is quite old but I thought it would be good to give a chance for you to compare Treimanis then and now.
